MQuant
On demand
MQuant pH indicator strips covering the full 0–14 range, with a non-bleeding reagent zone for coloured and turbid samples.
P4334-9590
MQuant strips carry the indicator on a fixed reagent zone rather than impregnated through the paper. The practical consequence is that the reagent does not bleed into the sample, which matters twice over: the sample is not contaminated by the test, and the strip can be read after being dipped in something the operator would rather not put a roll of paper into.
That makes them the better choice where the sample is coloured, turbid or valuable — a fermentation broth, a pigmented process liquor, a small volume that has to be recovered — precisely the cases where a bleeding paper strip either misreads against the sample's own colour or ruins the sample.
The full 0–14 range covers everything from strong acid to strong base in one strip, so no prior knowledge of the sample is needed before testing. Read against the colour scale on the pack.
These are a laboratory-grade complement to Hydrion rolls rather than a replacement. For a sanitiser bucket checked forty times a day, a roll is the sensible economics; for a coloured sample where the answer has to be defensible, these are the right strip.
