Little Giant is the small pump for permanent duty. It moves no great volume and lifts water no great height; it does a modest job reliably for years, which is a different and often harder specification.
Under an air-conditioning unit clearing condensate. In a basement on a float, waiting for the next rain. Recirculating a fountain. Draining a defrost tray. Emptying a small tank.
These are jobs where nobody looks at the pump until it fails, and where failing means water on a floor or equipment shut down. So what you buy here is not flow but that it always starts.
The series starts at 0.17 hp — a sixth of a horse. That is deliberate: a small motor working inside its range lasts far longer than a large one starting and stopping under no real load. Oversizing here shortens service life rather than extending it.
Seven configurations, 1″ NPT discharge, single phase at 115 V.
Check the head you have to overcome: these pumps are meant for short lifts, and flow falls off quickly as head rises.
