Macherey-Nagel INDIPRO is a rapid swab test for detecting protein contamination on work surfaces and on equipment that comes into contact with food. It is a qualitative test: the strip shows with a color change whether protein residues are present on the surface checked, with a reference of 50 µg BSA (bovine serum albumin).
It works as a quick cleaning check in food plants and laboratories, to confirm that a surface or piece of equipment is really clean before it goes back into use.
The kit includes: 60 test strips in a tube and two reagent bottles (INDIPRO-1 and INDIPRO-2). The reagents contain ethanol and are flammable. Store between 4 and 30 °C, protected from moisture.
