Hygiena EnSURE Touch ATP Luminometer

The EnSURE Touch is the handheld reader used to confirm, on the spot, whether a surface is actually clean. It measures ATP — the energy molecule found in any organic residue, whether food soil or microorganisms — by bioluminescence, and returns a reading in about 10 seconds. Sanitation teams know before start-up whether an area needs re-cleaning, instead of finding out days later from a lab result.

Sensitivity and technology

It uses a photodiode sensor rather than a traditional photomultiplier tube: smaller, more shock-resistant and more energy-efficient, while detecting ATP below 1 femtomole. It checks its own calibration at power-up, so every shift starts with a confirmed instrument.
