Hydrion Chlorine Test Paper

Chlorine test paper is how a sanitiser bucket gets checked. Dip, wait, match the colour against the chart on the container, and read the concentration in parts per million. No meter, no reagent, no calibration — which is the point, because the check has to happen at the sink several times a shift or it does not happen at all.

The range covers what food-service and processing sanitising actually uses. A hypochlorite solution mixed by eye drifts badly: too weak and it does not sanitise, too strong and it corrodes equipment, leaves residue on food-contact surfaces and wastes product. A five-second check settles it.

Two formats:

The roll is the cheaper format per test and tears to whatever length is needed; the vial of pre-cut strips is faster in gloved hands and travels better on a cart or in a pocket.

Keep the container closed and out of direct sunlight — chlorine paper degrades on exposure and the failure is silent, reading low on a solution that is actually in range. Replace any roll that has been left open on a wet bench.
