Hanna Instruments solution for the high-range titrant for the sulfur dioxide mini titrator, one model.
HI84500-51
This Hanna Instruments calibration solution measures the high-range titrant for the sulfur dioxide mini titrator.
Total sulfur dioxide — the bound fraction as well as the free — runs far higher than free SO2 and is what the legal limit is written against. Measuring it needs the titrant sized for that range.
A standard is only a standard while it is uncontaminated and in date. Pour what you need into a clean beaker, never dip an electrode into the bottle, and never return what you poured. Cap the bottle immediately — several of these solutions change value simply by standing open.
Write the opening date on the label. An expired or contaminated standard does not announce itself; it quietly calibrates every instrument in the laboratory to the wrong value.
Free and total SO2 are different measurements with different limits; record which one a figure is before it leaves the cellar.
Supplied as one model.
