The flameless electric Bunsen supplied as a factory-paired set with the MC5 controller, for regulated output rather than on/off. 115 V or 230 V.

This is the Electrothermal Electric Bunsen supplied together with its MC5 controller under a single catalog number. The burner itself is unchanged — the same conical radiant element, heat-deflecting top cowl and cool-touch vented housing — but the controller turns it from an on/off appliance into a regulated heat source.
That matters wherever the work is repeatable rather than occasional. Sterilising a loop needs only full output; holding a small vessel at a working temperature through a protocol, or backing the element off so a sample is not scorched, needs a set point. Without the controller the only options are full power and off.
Buying the pair as one catalog number avoids the ordinary mistake of receiving a burner and a controller that do not match on voltage.
Two supply voltages are available:
If regulated output is not needed, the burner alone is the cheaper choice and carries catalog numbers BA6101X1 and BA6101. The controller can also be added later, but ordering it as a set is the simpler path.
