A pressure washer cleans with pressure, not with detergent or effort. It is the difference between scrubbing a facade all afternoon and walking it with a lance in an hour.
Pressure, in bar or psi, decides what it can lift: loose mud needs little, baked-on grease or flaking paint need a lot. Flow, in litres per minute, decides how fast it advances across a large surface.
A machine with high pressure and low flow is slow on a facade. One with high flow and low pressure will not shift workshop grease. Choose by what you will clean most often, not by the biggest number in the catalogue.
Against a petrol-engined machine, electric is quieter, emits nothing and can be used inside a warehouse or a covered car park. In exchange it depends on the mains and on the circuit tolerating the motor's starting current.
Five published configurations, from 3,000 to 3,600 psi. The manufacturer's catalogue also lists a 10 hp, 3,600 psi machine under the same code as the 7.5 hp one; ask us about that unit. Check the amperage against the breaker where you will plug it in — that is the most common reason a new pressure washer trips the protection.
And a usage warning: pressure that lifts grease also lifts paint, cuts gaskets and damages seals. Always start at a distance and move closer.
