These pumps move water no clean-water centrifugal would tolerate: wastewater with solids, dewatering excavations full of mud and sand, sumps, basement and flood drainage. They are submersible and work inside the liquid.
The specification that determines whether a wastewater pump is fit for a job is not power but what size of solid it will pass. An impeller that jams every three days is not a pump, it is a recurring maintenance visit.
That is why the discharge is large relative to the power — 2″ to 6″ NPT across this series. A bigger diameter is not there to move more water; it is there so that what comes with the water gets through. Reducing that line at installation with an adapter "to make it fit" is the most common cause of blockages in a newly commissioned system.
The same machine covers two different jobs. Dewatering is clearing accumulated water — an excavation, a flooded basement, a pit after rain — where the duty is intermittent but urgent. Wastewater is continuous service in a sump, starting and stopping on a float for years.
Continuous service puts the weight on duty cycle and seal robustness; dewatering puts it on speed and on starting submerged without priming.
Thirty-nine configurations cover 0.5 to 25 hp, single phase at 110/220 V and three phase at 220/440 V.
