The MSE series occupies the gap between an ordinary centrifugal and a high-pressure pump — and that gap is where a good deal of real work falls.
A general-purpose centrifugal runs short as soon as water has to reach two or three floors at a decent flow. A high-pressure pump solves that but costs more, draws more, and often delivers pressure nobody will use.
Medium pressure is the answer for the case in between: a low-rise building, a mid-sized irrigation network, a domestic or small commercial pressure set, a process line with moderate losses. It is the pump most often over-specified, and the one that would most often have been enough.
Add real static lift to pipe losses and compare against H MAX.. If the figure sits comfortably inside this series' range, do not pay for high pressure: the larger pump will run throttled, which is inefficient and hard on the seal.
Nine configurations from 2 to 10 hp, with 1 1/2″ to 2″ NPT suction and discharge, single phase at 110/220 V and three phase at 220/440 V. Models in this series also state their rotation speed in rpm, which is useful when matching a drive or an existing system.
