MTC bio moulds these in premium polypropylene with a flat screw cap — flat so a tube stands inverted on its lid to drain, which is a small thing until you are draining fifty of them.
Supplied 50 to a foam rack inside a sterile bag, 500 per case. The foam rack is the difference in daily use: tubes arrive upright and stay upright, so a rack goes straight to the bench and the sterile bag is opened once rather than a tube at a time. Where a protocol involves adding to many tubes in sequence, that is the packaging that keeps the sequence straight.

The 17 × 118 mm body is the standard conical footprint, so these drop into the same rotor adapters, racks and rack positions as any other 15 mL conical tube. Sterile as supplied; they are single-use and are not intended for autoclaving.
