The conical tube is the workhorse of any laboratory that spins samples: the tapered bottom concentrates a pellet into a small, visible cone that can be seen against the graduations and decanted from without disturbing it. These are moulded in polypropylene, which takes the g-force and resists the solvents and buffers that go into them.
Rated to 11,000 × g, which covers cell pelleting, protein precipitation and routine clarification in a standard benchtop centrifuge. Check the rating against your rotor before spinning near the limit — the tube, not the rotor, is usually what sets the ceiling.
Supplied sterile and bulk wrapped, 50 per bag and 10 bags per case, so a bag is opened as needed and the rest of the case stays sealed. Racked packaging is available separately where tubes are handled one-handed at the bench.

Note the graduation difference: the 15 mL tube reads to 0.5 mL and the 50 mL tube to 5.0 mL. For a volume that has to be read rather than pipetted, that ten-fold difference matters more than the capacity does — measure a 20 mL volume in the 50 mL tube and the finest reading available is 5 mL.
